Google Ads Search Campaigns for FinTech
Fundkiss.mu is the first crowdlending (peer to peer lending) platform in Mauritius. Prior to 2020, our founder Noor Sheriff had given some consulting time to the management team of fundkiss.mu on how to grow their brand footprint and acquire leads online for both new borrower requests and new investor sign-ups.
Lead generation for crowdlending
Fundkiss.mu launched its platform and was having issues with generating quality traffic and quality leads on its platform. The number of leads being generated by the previous ads partners were not satisfactory and as such, Lean Search was mandated to structure and set up a new channel: Google Ads. At the time, the main channels used by the crowdlending platform did not include Search Engines and as such, the company was missing out on a significant number of leads.
The conversion rate of a campaign is as dependent on the quality of the Ads, as it is on the ability of the landing page to convert anonymous visitors into leads and contact forms filled. As such, a new wireframe was created for borrowers and an A/B testing was carried out. The landing page with the new wireframe recommended by Lean Search outranked by far in terms of number of leads generated.
The crowdlending platform https://fundkiss.mu was able to grow 5-fold in the first month, and in the months that followed, 18x increase in monthly number of leads generated. This success helped not only the crowdlending platform, but Lean Search was invited to present such growth hacking techniques to the small and medium enterprises that were borrowers on the Fundkiss P2P lending platform.
